Chyluria

Chyluria is a rare condition in which chyle leaks in the urinary collecting system.

Clinically the patients with chyluria urinate “milky” urine. The common clinical presentation in these patients is urinary obstruction.

In these patients we first perform the DCMRL. On DCMRL we can detect the connections between the lymphatic system and urinary connection system (Figure).

In case of identification of these communications, we will perform intranodal lymphangiography, following by lymphatic embolization.
